Evasive System Kuro has several abilities to dodge attacks. For the ground evade, just press A+B. You will slide behind the enemy. You could also use this to quickily move towards the enemy for a quick attack. For the air evade, double tap any direction to move that way. You will quickily dash away from any attack. Also, you can control its movement even further by using the the perpendicular directional buttons. So if you double tap UP, press left or right to control its movement. If you double tap RIGHT, press up or down to control that movement also. The air evasion can also be used to help in Air combos.
Air Combo System Kuro has a very complex system of air combos. You can press A OR B to use the 4 basic attacks. ^ + A/B = Upper Kick. It helps to raise you and your enemy a little > + A/B = Front Punch. It can knock the enemy into the wall and bounce back. It also makes yourself move a lil forward. v + A/B = Knock Scratch. It will knock the enemy down to the ground, but will bounce far back up for further comboing. A/B = Tail Whip. Just a basic hit. Can be repeated after itself. You can not continue the next hit unless you have hit successfully for the previous attack. Also, if you have hit 4 or more times, you will go into "Aerial Mode". In Aerial Mode, your combos will be a lot faster. Also, you do not need to hit the previous to continue the combo. So you can just attack infinitely in the air. But you will not be able to hit every time, because of the juggles.
Grab System Press >+A+B to use. This system is just grabbing with 4 attacks installed. Grabbing itself is VERY useful to comboing, but the actual grab attacks are not. You can use and link any move with the grab. v, v = Quick Stomp. Just stomps a few times. ^, ^ = Flaming Upper. You will fly up as you hit the enemy upwards. You can try to link an air combo with this move. <, < = Back Scratch. No special about this attack >, > = Flaming Kick. Knocks the enemy far away.
Berserk System After you have at least 1 bar, press down+A+B to go into Dragon Berserk! During this stage, your attacks are increased by 50%! Your speed is also increased. it's not much difference but the stat up is still awesome. It will slowly decrease your power also. When your power goes down to zero, you will lose 100 HP, and flinch a little. Be careful, you CAN die from this, so it's very dangerous to use if you are low on HP. Also, during this mode, you can link both supers, from Level 1 > Level 2.
Normal Skills:
v, >, A = Dragon Fire. A long ranged fireball attack. v, >, B = Dragon Cut. You dash forward really quickly to scratch the enemy. v, <, B = Rising Fire. A tower of fire rises to bring the enemy up in the air. v, >, A+B = Dragon Roar. Takes a while to charge up, and then release a large roar to hurt enemies all around. Mostly used as a defensive attack.
Air Skills:
v, >, A = Dragon Spin. 4 Spin kicks. Very useful for air combos. v, >, B = Meteor Strike. You kick down and create a wave of fire as you land.
Supers:
v, >, v, >, A = Dragon Fury. Grabs and then does a series of combos. Requires 1 bar. v, >, v, >, B = Dragon Spirit. Dashes towards to enemy to release Kuro's true firey power. Requires 2 bars.
You can connect the 2 supers if you use Dragon Fury, then use Dragon Spirit AT THE VERY LAST PUNCH during Dragon Fury. You have to do it fast. Requires 2.5 bars TOTAL.
